It's Been To Long

Well, I know it's been awhile since I last had a chance to post. Life has been that hectic these days. I have had to be thrust into a brand new stage of life with a disabled husband. I have a son who is entering the 2nd grade. Wow!! Life is going crazy & there is nothing I can do to stop it. All I can do at this point in life is hand everything over to the Lord & trust that He will take care of it!!

Anyway, here is a bit of an update:

-- Daron
His health has gotten pretty bad. Lately he is sleeping almost all day as well as all night (as I write this he is snoring away in the bedroom). I noticed today that he has a pretty nasty bruise on his side from a fall, but he has no idea when it happened. Mental capacity is failing with each passing day. I can tell him something on Monday morning & by Monday afternoon he has already forgotten it. I know that part of that can be male selective hearing, but it's happening a lot more often then it used to.

--Taylor
He just finished 1st grade on June 10. I am so amazed by his wonderful spirit these last few weeks. We still have rough spots with attitude & such, but he has grown a ton in the last year. Now that he is on summer break, my house has become the hang out house. But I have learned that it is better to have him here with his friends where I can keep an eye on him.

-- Me
Last but not least.......I'm not sure how I am doing to be completely honest. One day I am utterly happy with my family & everything else. The next day I am curled up under the covers crying my eyes out. But I know that most of that is due to the massive amount of stress I am under these days. Every day I wake up & ask the Lord to give me the strength that I need to get through that day.

Well, that is about all for now. I need to head to bed in order to get some sleep.
